We aim to transform indigenous materials into globally fashionable, high-quality pieces. Our vision is to provide fair and equitable income to every producer. We believe in the power of every single "handcraft" to transform lives and communities. We envision a future where style and social responsibility go hand in hand. Our store delivers all through out Europe and to America.

History

"Joadre Fashion" is a social project created in 2015 to empower Nigerian tailors. Our founder Joana Adesuwa Reiterer, launched the project with a complete production unit in Lagos with the support of social impact investors from Austria after participating in the television show "2 Minutes, 2 Million" from the Austrian TV station Puls 4. Due to logistical challenges tied to the COVID-19 pandemic, the production and project was closed by 2020.

However, Joana's motivation to empower African SME's has inspired the reopening of the project within a new structure. Now called "Joadre Crafts", our project encompasses several micro-producers and tailors who form a production network. We provide and manage this digital platform for them to showcase and sell their product in Europe.

We celebrate the rich tapestry of Nigerian culture by incorporating traditional elements into every piece. Every piece tells a story, connecting the past with the present.
